Location

Located in the Baa Atoll, Kunfunadhoo Island is one of the largest islands in the Maldives. The resort can be reached by a senic 30 minute seaplane flight direct from Male international Airport or a 12-minute speedboat ride for guests scheduled on domestic flights at the nearby Dharavandhoo Airport. Soneva Fushi has a private airport lounge exclusively for Soneva guests.

Inspired by the primal bonding ritual of sharing food, it recreates this intimacy with dishes designed for sharing, crafted around nine different cooking methods.

Shades of Green

Plant-based Maldivian and Southeast Asian with Nordic cooking techniques. Danish Chef Carsten Kyster celebrates the garden with five-course menus featuring colours.

Mihiree Mitha

Translating to ‘here it is’, this is the culinary heart of the island, featuring an endless spread of fresh fruits, live cooking stations, freshly caught and grilled-to-order fish and a collection of Asian dishes and Maldivian specialities. The wood-fired oven offers freshly baked pizzas. Guests can design their own pizza by choosing from the choice of toppings.

The Observatory

Diving and Snorkeling

The Soleni Dive Centre’s multi-lingual PADI instructors and small group sizes ensure you world-class diving experiences. Choose from a number of diving courses and equipment is available to rent.

Snorkel Hanifaru Bay, home to one of the world’s largest populations of manta rays. Conditions and season (June to November*) permitting, watch hundreds of mantas as they feed on plankton. If there are no mantas, our Marine Biologist will take you to another snorkelling spot

Sunset Dolphin Cruise

Get ready for one of our most sought-after experiences; watching dozens of playful dolphins in the light of the setting sun. While you cruise ever deeper in the sea, you will be served a selection of canapés and a flute of Champagne, all accompanied by the beats of traditional Maldivian Boduberu drums.
